Yz

As a little boy, Yz was already interested in music. At the age of 10 he had his own drive-in disco that he took to every birthday and schoolparty. By the time he reached puberty in the nineties he also became interested in rockmusic. With a few friends he started a band where he played the bassguitar.

Because of wanting to play for an audience, Yz decided to organize a rock festival in his hometown Empel and it was a success for four years to come. At the end of the nineties his interest for dance music started to grow back on him ; he decided to buy two technics SL 1200 and some records and started to spin. After some time he began to organize his own techno event "Deep Impact" in the "Boulevard" ,an alternative club in Den Bosch. He united with some other dj's and vj's to organize larger events , so they came up with a new organisation "System XL ". By spinning a lot of records , his interest grew to make music the way he wanted to hear it. He began buying equipment and started experimenting. Finally, after some years of blood,sweat and tears the result is here ! So enjoy the sounds of Yz and leave a comment if you like. 

Together with dj Erique , he currently has a radio programme "The Invasion " on www.radiobanzai.nl , consisting of techno & electronic music . You can listen every friday from 22:00 C.E.T. untill .... well ....as long as they please !
